"Keep on Singing" is a 1972 song composed by Danny Janssen and Bobby Hart. Recorded by Austin Roberts and released by Chelsea Records from the album Austin Roberts, the single reached #50 on the Billboard Hot 100. Helen Reddy recorded the song for her 1974 album Love Song For Jeffrey for which it served as lead single reaching #15 on the Hot 100 that May (Cash Box ranked "Keep on Singing" as high as #10). The third of Reddy's six consecutive Easy Listening #1 hits (she'd have eight overall), "Keep on Singing" was also a hit in Australia that summer reaching #25.[1]
Barbara Mandrell covered "Keep on Singing" for her 1974 This Time I Almost Made It album, and the song appears on Aileen Quinn's 1982 album Bobby's Girl. A live version of "Keep on Singing" is featured on the 1976 Live in Japan album by Dolenz, Jones, Boyce & Hart. A Finnish rendering: "Anna Laulun Lohduttaa", was recorded by Ami Aspelund for her 1974 Ami album.
